Julio Navas is the instructor of the subject self-management of the producer and record label, as well as the tutor of the final project in the third year of Diploma in EUMES.

He is co-founder and CEO of Mentes Inquietas, a creative company which comprises several services related to music and sound.

Julio Navas life has always been linked to music. He has developed projects in different fields of the sector: he is the founder of the record label Fresco Records and the publishing house Barzelona Publishing Group, where he has been in charge of managing the label, catalogue, design and content, achieving important success and a distinguished positioning within the worldwide electronic music industry.

As a music producer he has undercarried projects with artists such as John Acquaviva, Manuel De La Mare, D-Nox & Beckers, DJ PP o Víctor Ruiz and has made remixes for Trentemoller, David Guetta, Rinocerose, Joachim Garraud o Olivier Giacomotto, among others, which have been published through companies like Universal Music, EMI, Ministry of Sound, Armada, Tronic, Skint, Toolroom, Ultra, Kontor, Yoshitoshi, Definitive, Great Stuff, Black Hole, 1605 or Spinnin.

As an artist he has performed in some of the most prestigious clubs of the scene and in renowned events such as Creamfields, Rock in Rio (Madrid), Sonar Pro (Barcelona), Sunrise Festival / House Event (Poland), Moots Festival (Mexico), Fineplay (Japan) and Kaballah, XXXPerience, Flowers 3D, Green Valley or the famous D- Edge (Brazil). He is a regular also in the Ibiza nightlife, performing in clubs like Amnesia, Space, Privilege or Bora Bora. 

During more than 10 years he has also been connected with the world of music journalism, as an editor in the publication Deejay Magazine and Vicious Magazine, as well as through collaborations in different radio stations and the creation of his own program “Fresco Sessions” which has been emitted at a worldwide level.

This extense curriculum has driven many important technological enterprises to count on his knowledge, making him collaborator of brands such as Native Instruments, Adagio, Presonus, Reactable, Ableton Live or Conductr.
